The UTMB School-Based HPV Vaccination Program that is working with Mission CISD is providing an HPV resource/ education table for all parents in the district.

WHAT IS THE HPV VACCINE?
• The Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccine protects your children against a cancer-causing infection.
• The vaccine is safe and effective.
• All boys and girls between 11 and 12 years old should get the HPV vaccine and complete the 2-shot series by age 13.
• The HPV vaccine is the best protection against HPV infection and HPV-related cancers.
