K. White Jr. High has a total of 32 students that qualified for the Texas Math and Science Coaches Association (TMSCA) State Championship.  The following students are state qualifiers:

TMSCA is a Texas organization formed by math and science teachers in order to promote excellence in those subjects through competition. It was formed in 1981 to promote uniformity in the practice meets held to better prepare students for University Interscholastic League competition in the spring.


TMSCA has four events that students can participate in and they are: Calculator Applications, Mathematics, Number Sense, and Science. These events are rigorous and are designed to test the participant’s knowledge and understanding in those areas.
