Mission Jr. High has over 30 students qualify for TMSCA State Championship

Mission Jr. High had over thirty students qualify for the Texas Math and Science Coaches Association (TMSCA) State Championship set for April 26 – 28, 2019.  The following students are TMSCA state qualifiers:

TMSCA is a Texas organization formed by math and science teachers in order to promote excellence in those subjects through competition. It was formed in 1981 to promote uniformity in the practice meets held to better prepare students for University Interscholastic League competition in the spring.


TMSCA has four events that students can participate in they are: Calculator Applications, Mathematics, Number Sense, and Science. These events are rigorous and are designed to test the participant’s knowledge and understanding in those areas.
