MHS High Flyers garner awards and accolades to end their season!

Mission High School High Flyers with great eagle pride announce the closure of yet of another successful contest season for the dance team. On February 15-16, 2019, the High Flyers attended the Showmakers of America Alamo City Dance Competition in San Antonio, Texas. The Mission HS High Flyers are under the direction of Josie Flores, Isela Gomez and Oneida Saenz.  The following accolades are from their competition in San Antonio, Texas:

-4th Place Trio (small ensemble)

-Officer Sweepstakes (85+ 3 routines)

-Officer Showmanship Award hip hop & Jazz

-Officer Choreography Award hip hop

-Officer Best in Category- hip hop (med. team)

-Officer 2nd Place Best in Category-jazz

-Officer 2nd Place Best in Category- contemporary

-Officer 2nd Place Best in Class (med. team)

-Team Sweepstakes and Judges Award (90+ on all 3 routines- jazz, contemporary, military)

-Showmanship Award (highest score on all 3 routines- jazz, contemporary, military)

-Outstanding Choreography (jazz and contemporary)

-Best in Category 2nd Place Jazz

-Best in Category 2nd Contemporary

-Best in Class 2nd Place Military

On March 22-23, 2019, they attended the inaugural Battle Ground Dance Nationals Competition at South Padre Island and earned the following awards:
