Veterans Memorial High School Jazz Band receives Superior rating at the 52nd Annual TAMUK Jazz Festival held at Texas A&M University – Kingsville on March 30, 2019. The band received this outstanding rating from the judges at the highly competitive festival, with participating bands from the Rio Grande Valley all the way to Austin.
VMHS Sophomore Laura Barba (flute) was selected as an Outstanding Soloist among all students participating in the contest. Congratulations to VMHS Jazz Band students and director on their hard work. Thank you to all band parents, VMHS staff and MCISD administrators for their continued support.
