Mission, Texas- Almost half the Veterans Memorial High School (VMHS) DECA students who recently competed at the state DECA conference have qualified for competitions at the International DECA Conference. Of the 21 who advanced to state, 9 will be making the trip to internationals this year.
They are: Abigail Amaya, Jose Cerda, Andrea Flores, Fernanda Gonzalez, Ximena Herevia, Magaly Juarez, Deyla Rodriguez, Alejandro Martinez, Adal Ordonez.
Other VMHS DECA students who participated in the state-level competitions were: Leslie Borrego, Christopher Bravo, Mia Gonzalez, Jaelin Lopez, Ashley Perez, Audry Perez, Aileen Ybarra, Jennifer Moreno, Gabriel Pena, Mandy Pena, Alexandria Salinas, Danielle Hallquist.
