The artistic talents of 23 Mission High School (MHS) students will be featured in an upcoming publication called Celebrating Art. The students entered creative pieces into a contest through the publication for judging. Celebrating Art indicates that only 25% of submissions are accepted to be published. Those selected pieces are then published in an anthology that includes their work. These students are under the direction of Marisol Karam.
The students who have artwork selected by Celebrating Art are: Alejandra Gomez, Samantha Hernandez, Valerie Hernandez, Maria Leal, Raul Ramirez, Rogelio Luna, Angel Medina, Axel Hernandez, Arieana Burbois, Danielle Leal, Victor Esparza, Vanessa Gamboa, Ivanna Vargas, Jovanna Pacheco, Aracely Silva, Alejandra Silva, Richard Guzman, Victor Esparza, Timothy Chapman, Leonel Garcia, Amanda Rodriguez, Zayuri Velasquez-Mesa, and Armando Villarreal-Tamayo.
