The HealthierUS School Challenge: Smarter Lunchrooms is a program that focuses on promoting good nutrition in the lunchroom. Mission CISD received this award for providing whole grain foods and providing a variety of vegetables including dark green and orange vegetables. As well as promoting healthy habits through working with School Health Advisory Councils and throughout the lunch service.
