Jazmine Sustaita headed to Florida to play volleyball with the Jaguars

Mission High School 2019 graduate, Jazmine Sustaita, is headed to Palm Beach State College to play volleyball. She will be wearing new team colors of green and gold while sporting a new mascot, the Jaguar. She currently holds the record for the most digs that she obtained during her high school volleyball career.

The words of advice that resonate the most with her, are words her traveling team coach (Oscar Segovia) said to her; “don’t play with each other but play for one another.” She states that advice has allowed her to feel that all the players have each other’s backs on and off the court.

She is grateful for her family, coaches, friends and her faith. Jazmine knows that she would not have gotten as far as she has without all of them. She starts her new adventure in Florida with Student Orientation in August.

Sustaita is excited to be taking the next step in her academic career as well as getting the opportunity to play volleyball at the collegiate level. Her ultimate goal is to not only to seek a degree in Business but also to go as far as she can with her volleyball career.
