Mission, Texas- If the Veterans Memorial High School Patriot Band seemed a little larger and louder at the Patriot's home game on September 20; that is because they really were. It was their official Middle School Night and brought the Patriot Band together with band members from Mission Junior High School and R. Cantu Junior High School. Not only did the junior high band members join the Patriot Band in the stands for performances throughout the game, they also performed in formation during halftime, which was a first for the combined group.
