Mission, Texas- Leila Arriola from Mission High School (MHS), is the first female cross country runner from MHS to make it to the State UIL Cross Country Championship race in quite some time. The event was held this past weekend. Arriola placed 45th and finished before the other 6A division competitors from the Rio Grande Valley area.
