MHS swimmers/diver advance to regional competitions

Mission, Texas- The Mission High School (MHS) swimming and diving teams will be sending 17 students to compete at the UIL 6A regional meet in Brownsville, Texas at the end of this week. The program had a total of four students emerge as champs at the recent district meet. Angelina Garza took first place in diving. Victoria Trevino earned first place in 100 meter butterfly. Hilario Guerra won first place in 500 meter freestyle. Carleigh Castillo came in first in 500 meter freestyle. 

The other members of the MHS Eagle swim team who will be competing at regionals are: Hayley Garza, Annika Pena, Jaquelyn Seledon, Valeria Espinoza, Daniela Cantu, Robert Ramirez, Juan Mancha, Hector Deleon, Ramiro Borrego, Gael Rodriguez, Eric Calderon, Jorge Lopez, Carlos Wong.
