Mission, Texas- The Mission High School (MHS) boys powerlifting team has something new and shiny for the trophy case. They earned the District 30-6A championship this past weekend. The team members are (along with district tournament result): Gael Fernandez, third place; Michael Tamez, district champion; Mario Marquez, district champion; Leonardo Perez, second place; Ivan Chavez, fourth place; Gonzalo Perez, third place; Cristian Hernandez, district champion; Zeke Cuadros, fourth place; Houston Torres, third place; Steven Alvarez, second place; Fabian Ahumada; Gustavo Perez, manager.
