Mission, Texas- Veterans Memorial High School student, Valeria Treviño has qualified for the State SkillsUSA competitions in the area of advertising design. She recently placed first in regional qualifying competitions to earn the trip to state. The competition takes three hours in
which the students are given information to design a logo. Then they must also use that logo and information in two advertising designs. Afterwhich, the designs are viewed by the judges and students briefly explain their designs.
