Mission, Texas- Seven students from Mission Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) high schools have made All-Valley lists released by the Rio Grande Valley Basketball Coaches Association (RGVBCA).
Six of the students are from Veterans Memorial High School (VMHS), making lists for the 5A honors. Ronnie Cantu and Kaylee Flores were named to the Girls All-Valley Offensive Team. In addition to that honor, Cantu was named Most Valuable Player and Flores was named Offensive Player of the Year. Leila De Leon made the Honorable Mention list for 5A girls.
On the boys 5A lists, Jacob Arenas, from VMHS, was named Newcomer of the Year, AJ Gonzaque was named to the All-Valley First Team, and Jacob Marquez was named to the All-Valley Second Team.
Eddie Rivera from Mission High School made the RGVBCA 6A All-Valley Honorable Mention list.
