Mission High School Choir had eight students that were selected for the TMEA District Choir. This year the process was a little different, students had to learn their music through a combination of online lessons and individual practice. Participants had to submit to TMEA and to the Region XV Choir directors so that they could judge the blind audition.
This is the first time ever a virtual audition has taken place in the history of TMEA so there was quite a learning curve. These students prevailed and will be moving on to the next round of auditions. The Pre-Area auditions will also take place virtually and will be held on November 28, 2020. The following students were selected for the 2020-21 TMEA District Choir; Anahi Aguilar, Kayla Alcantar, Nathan Cavazos, Perla Gonzalez. Jetlyn Gonzalez, Abigail Rivera, Jacob Rogel. and Daniela Serrato.
