Dear Mission CISD Parent/Guardian,
As we quickly approach Thanksgiving and the traditional holiday season, I wanted to thank you once again for choosing Mission CISD and for working through all the challenges that this year has brought us.
We are exceedingly grateful for the caring community and the continued support that has been shown for our students by our communities.
It is my hope that as we enter the Thanksgiving break that you are able to pause and reflect on the blessings in your life. Even though this may have been a challenging year for many in our district family, it is important to not lose sight of the positive.
The district continues to be at your service and does have opportunities for emotional support for your children if needed through our licensed professional counselors. If help is needed you can reach out to them through your campus counseling staff or through the Student Services/Guidance Counseling Services Department section of the district website.
I hope this coming week provides you with an opportunity to reflect and be joyous in the blessings that are easy to overlook. Remember to take joy in celebrating the little things in addition to the big things.

Estimado padre / tutor de Mission CISD,
A medida que nos acercamos rápidamente al Día de Acción de Gracias y la tradicional temporada navideña, quería agradecerles una vez más por elegir a el distrito escolare de Mission y por superar todos los desafíos que este año nos ha traído.
Estamos sumamente agradecidos por la solidaridad y el apoyo continuo que nuestras comunidades han mostrado a nuestros estudiantes.
Espero que al entrar en el receso del Día de Acción de Gracias pueda hacer una pausa y reflexionar sobre las bendiciones en su vida. Aunque este puede haber sido un año desafiante para muchos miembros de la familia de nuestro distrito, es importante no perder de vista lo positivo.
El distrito continúa a su servicio y tiene oportunidades de apoyo emocional para sus hijos si es necesario a través de nuestros consejeros profesionales con licencia. Si necesita ayuda, puede comunicarse con ellos a través del personal de consejería de su campus o a través de la sección del Departamento de Servicios de Consejería / Servicios Estudiantiles del sitio web del distrito.
Espero que esta semana que viene les brinde la oportunidad de reflexionar y alegrarse de las bendiciones que son fáciles de pasar por alto. Recuerde disfrutar de la celebración de las pequeñas cosas además de las grandes.
