Mission, Texas- Friday, December 18 will be the last school day for Mission Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) students and staff before the Winter Break. It will be a regular school and work day. Mission CISD schools and offices will be closed December 21 through January 1. Monday, January 4 is considered a Teacher Workday and employees will officially be back at work. Classes will resume for Mission CISD students on Tuesday, January 5.
In-person, virtual instruction will continue to be provided for those parents who choose that option.
The district’s Curbside Meals program will also be suspended during the break. The last meal distribution will be on Saturday, December 19. There will be a special curbside meals distribution on Tuesday, January 5, from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. that will provide meals for four days. The weekly Saturday schedule of distributions will resume on Saturday, January 9.
