Mission CISD announces change to Curbside Meals Pick Up

  Mission, Texas- Mission Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) will have their regular curbside meals distribution on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 9:00 to 1:00 p.m. and children will receive 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches. A special distribution has also been scheduled for Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and children will receive 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches. There will be no meal distribution on Saturday, April 3rd due to the Easter holiday.

 

Any child 18 years of age or younger qualifies for the meals program distribution. Families can pick up the meals at any of the district’s nine locations: Bryan Elementary School, Cantu Elementary School, Leal Elementary School of Engineering and Technology, Marcell Elementary, Mims Elementary School, O’Grady Elementary School, R. Cantu Jr. High School, Mission High School, Mission Collegiate High School. 

 

Families can go to the campus nearest them to pick up all their child’s meals. Children do not need to be present, but parents must present proof of the number of children in the household. Any of the one of following examples of proof are acceptable such as student ID, student ID barcode with student’s name, recent student report card, progress report, printout from Tyler Student System with student’s name, letter from principal on district letterhead, WIC cards, birth certificate, any ID that has child’s name and age, etc.
