Mission CISD announces new procurement portal for vendors

Mission Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) has a new digital procurement portal that will facilitate the access to business opportunities, submission of bids and proposals. The district has partnered with Bonfire Interactive which will allow this process to be more accessible.

 

“Mission CISD is excited about the changes we are making to streamline our electronic bid process,” states Dora Garcia, Purchasing Coordinator. “We will continue to work with our vendors and provide the assistance they need with this new portal.”

 

This system not only makes the bidding process more efficient, but it also allows vendors to ask questions electronically, they can also receive the results of the awarded bids more promptly, and the company also provides vendors with registration assistance.

 

“The district had been actively looking for an electronic method that would not only allow accessibility to our vendors but also in making the bidding process more efficient,” states Dr. Carol G. Perez, Superintendent. “We look forward to fully implementing this digital portal and maximizing on all it has to offer.”

 

Currently the district has over 300 registered vendors. If there are any vendors interested in registering, they can request access by visiting the Bonfire Interactive portal at https://mcisd.bonfirehub.com/  then follow the link to the Bonfire vendor registration page to register your company.
