Mission CISD summer office closure and curbside meals reminder

Mission, Texas- The central administrative offices and most Mission Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) support services offices will be closed for a short summer break beginning Friday, June 25. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, July 13. 

Please note the summer curbside meal program will continue, even during the main office closure period. The Curbside Meal Pick Up program is offered once a week, on Thursdays at nine different locations throughout the district. The times for the Curbside program are 3:30-6:30 p.m. The nine locations are: Bryan Elementary School, 1300 Elm Drive, Mission; Cantu Elementary School, 920 W. Main Avenue, Alton; Mims Elementary School, 200 E. Two Mile Road, Mission; Marcell Elementary School, 1101 N. Holland, Mission; Leal Elementary School of Technology and Engineering, 318 S. Los Ebanos Road, Mission; O’Grady Elementary School, 810 W. Griffin Parkway, Mission; R. Cantu Jr. High School, 5101 N. Stewart Road, Palmhurst; Mission Collegiate High School, 605 S. Los Ebanos Blvd., Alton; Mission High School, 1802 Cleo Dawson, Mission. 

Any child 18 years or younger qualifies for the free meals, regardless of where they go to school. Each child receives 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches (14 meals total), including 2 half gallons of milk. Meals are frozen, refrigerated, shelf stable, and fresh. 

If the child is not in the vehicle for the curbside pick up, some sort of proof of the child and their age must be provided. Any of the following is acceptable: a school ID or ID number, school issued barcode with student’s name, report card, progress report, letter from the campus principal that is dated and on district letterhead, any printout from the district’s Tyler Student Information System with the student’s name, birth certificate, any form of identification that has the child’s name and age indicated.
