Mission, Texas- Mission Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) had 15 high school students attend a virtual five-day STEM Camp at University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) this summer. Students had the opportunity to work on a variety of activities. They had an engineering challenge where they solved a problem by creating a structure that would go across landforms. In another activity, students had to create a prosthetic hand. This was a one-time camp, but Mission CISD looks forward to the continued partnership with UTRGV.
