Mission, Texas- Mission High School (MHS) hosted the SkillsUSA Fall Leadership District 13 Conference on October 16th. SkillsUSA Texas District conducts a Fall Leadership Conference providing opportunities for students to learn leadership skills, meet industry leaders, and meet other students from all over their district.
Over 400 students and 80 advisors from all over the Rio Grande Valley were in attendance. Some of the sessions that were offered included: Integrity, Work Ethics, Professionalism, Responsibility, Communication, and Leadership. Veterans Memorial High School (VMHS) Cosmetology SkillsUSA members and club officers, from both MHS and VMHS had the opportunity to attend this conference and experience one of the best conferences to date.
