MHS athlete joins the UT Arlington cross-country team

Mission, Texas- Mission High School cross-country athlete, Rogelio Aguirre, has his college plans set for the fall. He signed a letter of intent this afternoon accepting a Division I scholarship from the University of Texas at Arlington. Aguirre ran cross country for the Eagles and looks forward to joining his new team.

 

Aguirre has been running competitively for the last six years and has earned multiple medals, trophies, and awards. He was named the MHS Cross Country Newcomer of the Year, MHS Cross Country Most Valuable Player, and is a State Qualifier. He not only looks forward to running for the Mavericks but also plans to seek a degree in architecture.
