VMHS Destination Imagination teams win awards and accolades. Team JCMC^2 are State Qualifiers and are set to compete on March 25th. Teams are tested to think on their feet, work together, and devise original solutions that satisfy the requirements of the Challenges.
Team Lucky 7 placed 2nd and received the DaVinci Award for Outstanding Creativity. This award is given for having a unique approach to a solution, for risk taking, and/or for outstanding creativity, not skill or talent.
Team Lucky 7- Evie Gonzalez, Gabrielle Longoria, Madison Davis, Ethan Zamora, Audrie Gutierrez, Andrea Luna, and Jaylen Mancilla.
Team JCMC^2 placed 1st and will be advancing to State Competition. They also received the Spirit of Discovery & Imagination Award for exceptional Spirit, Teamwork, Volunteerism and Sportsmanship.
