Mission, Texas- The Veterans Memorial High School (VMHS) Harlequin Drama One-Act Play team is advancing to Bi-District competitions. Plus several team members earned special recognitions at the recent district competitions. The troupe is performing, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
Earning special recognition awards are: Holly Garza, technical award; Andre Hodgson, Dalilah Velasquez, Maive Paz, Janelle Hinojosa, Alexis Reyes, honorable mention all-star cast; Alexia Ruiz, Margaux Paniagua, Brayden Smith, all-star cast; Trenton Garcia, best performer.
The other members of the advancing Harlequin team are: Andrea Guajardo, Aneken Vela, Betsabe Martinez, Diamond Lopez, Gina Mendez, Victoria Hallquist, Kameron Ibarra, Mariano Garcia, Neyda Ceballos, Roselyn Chapa, Reynaldo Lopez, Raissa Ramirez, Matthew Olivarez, Dannia Ochoa Ramirez, Rene Gonzalez.
The bi-district competition will be held at VMHS on March 24.
