Jorge is currently ranked as the Valedictorian for the Mission High School Class of 2022. He is a member of various clubs including Business Professionals of America, Future Business Leaders of America, Robotics, Future Farmers of America, Student Council, National Honor Society, SkillsUSA and MCISD FARMERS. Among his proudest accomplishments this year was qualifying for state in all his competitive extracurricular activities. Jorge plans to attend Grinnell College in Iowa to earn a degree in Environmental Sciences with the hopes of making food systems and processes more sustainable and affordable for everyone. He is the son of Maria L. Salinas.
