Each year, Mission Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) elementary schools participate in the American Heart Association Kids Heart Challenge. This combines physical activities and lessons with fundraising in support of the American Heart Association.
This year, Bryan Elementary School was awarded a special P.E. gift basket for raising the most money from among the participating Mission CISD elementary schools. They raised a total of $3,688.97. Escobar/Rios Elementary School Project Based Learning Academy took second place. While Mims Elementary School came in third.
