Mission, Texas-The parents of Mission Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) students interested in having their children participate in the district’s Credit by Examination (CBE) Without Prior Instruction have several deadlines to keep in mind. The registration period of June 6–July 22, 2022, are for the first testing dates. The testing dates for this period will be September 6, 8, and 9, 2022. The registration period for the second testing dates will be July 25–September 2, 2022. The testing dates for this will be November 8, 9, and 10, 2022. The registration period for the third testing dates will be November 7–December 9, 2022. The testing dates will be February 7, 8, and 9, 2023. The registration period for the final testing dates will be March 20-April 21, 2023. The testing dates will be June 6, 7, and 8, 2023.
A test consists of two sections of three hours each. Elementary students meeting the requirements of 19 TAC Chapter 74.24 in language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies will be accelerated on grade. Secondary students meeting the requirements of 19 TAC Chapter 74.24 will receive credit for the course.
