As she starts her senior year, Melanie is proud of becoming Major for the High Flyers as well as serving as head choreographer for the school play, “Grease”, as well as serving as parliamentarian for student council. Melanie’s future goals include becoming a Texas State Strutter, earning a Masters in Social Work, and starting a dance studio. As an active student at Mission High School, she is not afraid to step out of her comfort zone, provide help where needed, and serve as a positive role model for others. Melanie is the daughter of Maritza & Frank Escamilla.
