Yocelyn is proud of winning the support of her fellow students when she was voted Student Body President. In addition to that role, she is active in sports and Destination Imagination, and dance. While Yocelyn does not have a long-term goal yet, she sees work in the field of athletics as a possibility, especially volleyball. She thinks that would combine the sport she loves with the chance to travel. Around school, she tries to be a good role model, have empathy for others, and focuses on maintaining good attendance. She is the daughter of David and Araceli Escalona.
