Mission, Texas- Mission High School art students competed in the McAllen Public Library Bookmark Festival 2022 Youth Bookmark Contest recently. MHS senior, Abigail Rivera, took First Place in the 14-18 Division. The contest had a total of 284 entries across three divisions and the theme for this year was Mythology and Folklore. Abigail’s artistic work will be printed on bookmarks and shared with the community.
MHS students earning Honorable Mention honors are Sara Guevara, Michael Garcia, Gabriella Guerrero, Celia Pimentel, Joselyn Del Angel, Gracie Ceja, Taylor Rodriguez, Jesus Garcia, Lily Perez, and Anthony Escobedo.
