Mission, Texas- Veterans Memorial High School along with Mission Collegiate High School orchestra students competed in their first Orchestra UIL Solo and Ensemble contest at La Joya High School recently. A total of three students earned Division I’s from the judges and walked away with medals. The students in the orchestra program made history in their first year with the accolades they received.
The following are the results of that competition. Natalia Martinez-Soliz- Violin (Division I), Victoria Menchaca-Castillo- Cello (Division I), Jocelyn Navarro- Cello (Division I), Isabel Cabrera-Violin, Leah Navarro-Violin, and Czarina Nave- Violin.
