Abbie enjoys being a part of the UIL and TMSCA Math team and has been able to stay in the top three spots in all the meets she has attended so far. She is also active in UIL Calculators and Math, Destination Imagination, One Act Play, and Page Turners Book Club. Reading tops her list of favorite things to do outside of school. Her aspirations include becoming an infectious disease doctor after first attending UTRGV. Her positive attitude is well known, as is her nature to be hard-working and dedicated. Abbie is the daughter of Maria Isabel and Gregorio Canchola.
