Jaleen is the proud first-place winner at this year’s campus spelling bee. Her extra-curricular activities include: UIL Math, art club, science fair, and Mission Ballers. Jaleen is keeping an open mind as she continues to learn and explore her interests but thinks the fields of engineering or education may be in her future. As an “A” honor roll student, she is an excellent academic role model. She also embodies many of the attributes associated with Capturing Kids Hearts as she helps others and encourages them to succeed. Jaleen is the daughter of Eva and Jorge Cortez.
