Mason says he is proud of selling over 100 bundt cakes during his freshmen year with Ms. Chavez. He is active in National Honor Society, golf, SkillsUSA, BPA, FTC, culinary arts, writing, and role play. Mason sees himself becoming an engineer in the aerospace industry or perhaps a mechanical engineer. He also hopes to hold on to creative writing as a hobby or as a side job. He is currently writing a book. Mason is known to take the initiative on projects and always finds time to help other students who need assistance. He is the son of Vilma Farias.
