Mission, Texas- Mission Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) transportation department employees were among the many who competed recently in the South Texas Association for Pupil Transportation (STAPT) Road-eo.
Competitive teams were scored on various aspects of their skill and safety under the watchful eye of judges that included law enforcement officers.
The team of driver Carlos Gonzalez and aide Mary Hernandez took first place in the Special Needs division and will now represent Mission CISD and the area at the state competition that will take place on April 29 in Mesquite, Texas.
