VMHS DECA member to serve as District 1 Vice President of Community Service
Mission, Texas - Veterans Memorial High School student Mae Garcia has been elected as the 2023-24 District 1 Vice President of Community Service. Garcia is the 17th Veterans Memorial DECA member to hold a District Office.
Garcia will be serving and representing the counties of: Aransas, Bee, Cameron, Dubal, Hidalgo, Jim Hogg, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg, LaSalle, Live Oak, McMullen, Nueces, Refugio, San Patricio, Starr, Web, and Zapata.
DECA Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit student organization with more than 225,000 members in all 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, Canada, China, Germany, Guam, Hong Kong, Korea, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. The United States Congress, The United States Department of Education and state, district and international departments of education authorize DECA’s programs.
