Leire says she is proud of earning Platinum Reader status three years in a row. At school, she is active with UIL oral reading, math, and number sense. Plus, serving as student council historian and participating in robotics and choir. She also enjoys jiu-jitsu, wrestling, painting, and reading graphic novels. Leire would like to become an anesthesiologist when she grows up and would also like to participate in a Mixed Martial Arts competition. Around campus she is known for being a well-rounded leader who is active in many aspects of campus life. She is the daughter of Itzel and Martin Ibarra.
