Mission Eagle Choir student, Daniella Escojido, has been selected as a Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Texas Music Scholar. Daniella was nominated for this honor by her choir director, Kat Callaway. The award is given by TMEA, which sponsors the Texas All-State Bands, Choirs, and Orchestras. Last year, fewer than 1,800 students were named as Texas Music Scholars.
This award is given to students who have exhibited outstanding qualities in scholastic merit, musicianship, and citizenship in their school and community during the 2022-2023 school year. Congratulations Daniella for being an exemplary student who embodies the spirit of the Texas Music Scholars award.
