MHS soccer player scores collegiate goal as she signs with TSC Scorpions

Mission, Texas- Mission High School Lady Eagles athlete, Serena Rodriguez, is taking the next step in her soccer career and will begin her collegiate career in the fall. She has officially signed her letter of intent and is looking forward to joining the Texas Southmost College Scorpions soccer team.

 

“I’m so excited to have been given this opportunity to be able to play soccer at Texas Southmost College,” states Serena Rodriguez. “I think that playing soccer will just give me that fuel that I need while I study.”

 

While in high school, Serena participated in the Mission Eagle Choir and was active in Law Enforcement- Texas Public Safety Association. Serena is excited to continue her soccer career with the Scorpions but looks forward to earning a degree in Behavioral and Social Sciences.

 

She hopes to one day acquire a position within the legal justice system. Serena was joined at the signing by family members and friends in celebration of her great accomplishment.
