Veterans Memorial High School hosts National Honor Society Induction Ceremony

Mission, Texas - It was a night of recognition and celebration for the Veterans Memorial High School National Honor Society (NHS) as they inducted their newest members. The National Honor Society recognizes high schoolers who meet high academic achievement and standards. A total of 8 inductees in the class of 2024 and 49 inductees in the class of 2025 were inducted into the NHS for their academic excellence. The newly inducted members are as follows: 

Inductees of the class of 2024:  Minerva Cruz, Angela Garcia, Amanda Olivarez, Elliah Rodriguez, Kendra Rosales, Mia Sanchez, Jersey Silva, and Brianna Solis. 

Inductees of the class of 2025: Daniela Arguijo, Gabriela Arguijo, Marcelo Cantu, Isaiah Casas, Debra Cavazos, Janelle Corona, Santiago Coronado, Carolina de la Rosa, Lynette de Leon, Jonathan Duberney, Heather Flores, Sara Garcia, Jaden Garza, William Garza, Alexandra Gonzalez, Desire Gonzalez, Evie Gonzalez, Audrie Gutierrez, Kassandra Hernandez, Tristyn Ibarra, David Leal, Sebastian Leal, Anna Lire, Ryan Long, Diamond Lopez, Cecilia Madrigal, Z’nia Medina, Alessandra Moyeda, Victoria Olivarez, Isabella Ortiz, Gael Pena, Angelique Pena, Juan Ponce, Zoe Pulido, Kourtney Quintero, Carla Ramirez, Monika Regalado, Alejandro Rivera, Rihanna Rivera, Alexia Rodriguez, Itzel Sada, Evelyn Salinas, Vianae Salinas, Vivian Salinas, Mikaela Segundo, Joseph D. The National Honor Society is a nationwide organization for high school students and selection to the organization is based on four criteria: scholarship (academic achievement), leadership, service, and character.
