Veterans Memorial High School Choir students competed in the Texas State Solo & Ensemble Contest on May 27, 2023, in Pflugerville, Texas. One student earned Division 1 Gold medal and four students received a Division 2 Silver medal. The Choir students are under the direction of Choir Director, Vanessa Rodriguez. The following are the recognized recipients.
Division 1 Gold medal: Sofia Miramontes
Division 2 Silver medal: Alexis Alaniz, Adrian Lozoya, Emilee Silva, and Kenya Zuniga.
