MISSION, TEXAS (May 9, 2024) - The Mission CISD Transportation team has secured its position among the ranks of public transportation fleets across the United States for the second year in a row. The National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA) has awarded Mission CISD the recognition of being among the top 100 public transportation fleets in the nation.
Their dedication to providing reliable and quality transportation services to the community has earned Mission CISD the 79th rank out of the 2024 100 best public fleet rankings in the nation.
The 100 Best Fleets in the Americas program recognizes peak-performing public and commercial fleet operations, as well as the top Fleet Technician and Fleet Professional of the year. This program identifies and encourages the ever-increasing levels of performance improvement and innovation within the fleet industry. The 100 Best Fleets in the Americas contest is open to any fleet in North, Central, or South America. Application into the contest is free and is an entirely online process.
The entire transportation team had to meet the following 12 criteria for excellence for public fleets to receive this honor, as per Ana Vely Uresti Munoz, Transportation Director at Mission CISD:
