Carrillo expressed gratitude for the opportunity to lead the SEA summit, emphasizing its significance for professional development within the field.
In her role as chairperson, Carrillo has the privilege to determine the summit's theme, color scheme, organization, presenter selection, and serve as the event host.
This collaborative effort with fellow Texas HPE administrators and vendors aims to provide valuable opportunities for administrators to integrate new programs and resources into their school district's benefit that the Mission CISD HPE Department has actively embraced.

The summit's overarching theme, "SEA the Light for Success," underscores the role of HPE administrators, lead teachers, vendors, and sponsors as guiding beacons, illuminating the path to success for all stakeholders, including students, staff, and the community.
The event features keynote speakers and various presenters addressing a spectrum of topics. Representing Mission CISD are Social Worker/Medical Wellness Coordinator Brenda Zamora, Director Sylvia Cruz, and Coach Denise Rosales, the Mission Collegiate HPE campus and district teacher of the year, as presenters.
