MISSION, TEXAS (June 18, 2024) — Mission Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) announces open enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year, making it easier than ever for families to join the Mission CISD family.
With the open enrollment policy, previous barriers that may have prevented students from enrolling at Mission CISD have been removed. This change reflects the district's commitment to providing educational opportunities for all students.
"Mission CISD has so much to offer students," said Dr. Cris Valdez, Superintendent of Schools. "We want to ensure every family can take advantage of our diverse academic programs including the many resources that engage and support young minds.”
Open enrollment allows parents to send their children to any of Mission CISD’s 22 campuses within the district, regardless of their residence location.
Parents interested in transferring their children to Mission CISD can complete the out-of-district transfer form and collaborate with Student Services to prepare for the upcoming school year.
"Open enrollment offers valuable choices for families, expanding their options and ensuring that a child's educational opportunities are not limited by their zip code," Valdez said.
