JULY 17, 2024 (MISSION, TEXAS) - The annual Mission CISD Back-to-School Bash will be held at the Mission Event Center on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
In addition to the many services that will be available that evening, students will also be able to get a packet of school supplies, thanks to the generous support of local businesses and community organizations.
The school supplies will only be given to registered Mission CISD students on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
In addition to school supplies, other services that will be offered during the Back-to-School Bash include:
- Free vision screenings
- Free student haircuts, provided by Mission CISD cosmetology students
- Opportunities to register for the upcoming school year
- General school information for each Mission CISD campus
- Immunizations
- Sports Physicals
- Student performances
PHYSICALS
For those planning to take advantage of $10 physicals, officials with Monarch Clinic say the first page of the physical form must be filled out and signed by parents before the physical can be conducted.
Students who have a medical condition that may interfere with medical clearance should bring a clearance letter from a cardiologist or specialist involved with the student’s medical history. This page includes questions about the student’s medical history.
It is recommended to arrive on time to ensure families take full advantage of the many services the event will provide.
