Mission CISD Honors Dedication to Dropout Recovery Initiatives

MISSION, TEXAS (October 28, 2024) - Mission CISD kicked off the day with a celebration to recognize the work being done in dropout recovery efforts. This gathering served as a platform to highlight the invaluable contributions of the Mission CISD Family and Community Engagement Liaisons and Attendance and Recruitment Officers. These professionals play critical roles in fostering a supportive environment for students, helping to ensure they have the resources and guidance needed to succeed academically and personally.

Mission CISD Superintendent of Schools Dr. Cris Valdez delivered a message, emphasizing the importance of the attendees' work, “You are changing lives! We know it’s not easy, but you are helping us build a brighter future for our students and our community.”

Attendees enjoyed a breakfast catered by El Patio, along with treats crafted by the T.I.T.A.N.S (Transforming Individual Talents and Navigating Success) students, including refreshing iced coffees and drinks that kept everyone energized and motivated throughout the morning.

Mission CISD acknowledges that student attendance is a critical factor in academic achievement and personal development. The district appreciates the efforts of each team member for their dedication to creating a supportive environment that promotes student success.
