MISSION, TEXAS (April 3, 2025) – Mission Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) is proud to announce a major milestone for one of its student-athletes. Mission High School senior Ezequiel Sepulveda has officially signed his letter of intent to play collegiate baseball at Oklahoma Wesleyan University, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in both his athletic and academic journey.
Surrounded by family, coaches, teammates, and staff, Sepulveda celebrated his commitment during a special signing ceremony held at Mission High School on April 2nd. His determination, discipline, and love for the game have paved the way for this opportunity to compete at the next level.
In addition to continuing his baseball career, Sepulveda has chosen to major in kinesiology—a field that reflects his passion for athletics. Per Sepulveda, his future goals are rooted in a desire to learn more about how athletes can optimize their health and physical abilities, both on and off the field.
During the event, Sepulveda also expressed heartfelt gratitude to those who have supported him throughout his journey.
“I’d like to thank my second oldest brother, who couldn’t be here today but has always been my biggest role model,” said Sepulveda. “I also want to thank my mom, dad, sister, Coach Martinez, and Coach Garza—they’ve all played a huge part in shaping the person I am today.”
Ezequiel’s accomplishments reflect the values of hard work, perseverance, and family that Mission CISD works to instill in every student. His journey is an example of what can be achieved through dedication and the support of a strong community.
