Veterans Memorial High School (VMHS) student, Galilea Zorola spent a little bit of her summer in Washington, DC. Zorola is the Texas DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) State Secretary. Her trip was an official visit as a part of the Texas contingent at an international conference. She and the others attended the Emergency Leader Summit.
The conference provided an opportunity to meet with other state and national DECA officers while working on communication, leadership, and speaking skills.
